The Chicco Keyfit 30 Infant Car Seat is one of the new generation of rear-facing car seats that can support an infant weighing up to 30 pounds, instead of the traditional 22 pounds. It can also support a baby up to 33 inches in length, much better than any other car seats that can accommodate infants only about 29 inches.
The Chicco Keyfit 30 Infant Car Seat has energy-absorbing EPS foam liner, ensuring additional impact protection. It has a five-point harness with a simple up-front one-pull adjustment system as well as a built-in clip making it very easy to secure. You will find its harness very easy to adjust – just a mere buckle and unbuckle mechanism.
The Keyfit 30 also has a padded insert that lines the entire seat area, under and around the child’s body and head. It comes with a base and a bubble-level guide on each side that will guide you through installation. It is LATCH-equipped and you can adjust its base to match the angle of your vehicle’s seat.
